About Jeff

From Professional Inker to Creator-Owned Worlds.

Jeffrey Whiting is a comic book artist, inker, writer, and graphic artist based in Holly Hill, Florida. His professional comics career began in inking, including work on The Tick for New England Comics and a wide range of books in Malibu’s Ultraverse.

That foundation in deadline-driven production developed into a broader independent practice. Jeff now writes, draws, letters, colors, and publishes his own books, including Shanghai and Extraterrestrial, both supported through successful Kickstarter campaigns. His current creator-owned project is Clockwork Diva.

Outside comics, Jeff holds an associate degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has worked extensively in commercial graphics, sign production, screen printing, and digital design.
