About Jeff Whiting

My name is Jeffrey Whiting, and I currently live in Daytona Beach, Florida. I hold an Associates degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. As an expert-level graphic artist, I am highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and AutoCAD. Over the years, I have worked for various sign companies and screen printers doing commercial artwork, which has heavily influenced my digital workflows and creative process today.

Professional Inking

I started my professional career in the comic book industry as an inker. Over the years, I have had the incredible opportunity to ink issues of The Tick for New England Comics, as well as a wide variety of books for the Malibu Ultraverse. While my career has evolved, those early days of professional inking built the foundation for my current art style.

Independent Publishing

In more recent years, I transitioned into self-publishing my own original books, including Shanghai and Extraterrestrial - both of which were brought to life through successful Kickstarter campaigns. While I started strictly as an inker, I now handle all of the writing, artwork, lettering, coloring, and publishing for my independent titles. Currently, I am hard at work creating a brand new series called Clockwork Diva.

Conventions & Live Auctions

I love connecting with fans and attend comic conventions as often as I can. At my artist alley tables, I sell original comic book art, metal prints, blank sketch covers, and collected art books. In late 2025, I expanded my presence online by streaming live art auctions and selling prints directly to collectors on the Whatnot platform.
